Breed gallery

Named lines from real tanks.

Every line here is kept by a breeder on Aquacellum and photographed in their own tanks and tubs. Line names are the breeder's own. They describe how the fish look, not a certified genetic strain.

Who keeps these fish

GG Steve Rice Fish NJ

📍 Toms River, NJ · Local pickup

Steve breeds Japanese rice fish (medaka) in outdoor tubs and a planted show pond. Medaka are hardy, need no heater, can overwinter outdoors, and breed readily, which makes them a good first breeding project.

Only real fish

Every photo and video was taken by the breeder of their own fish. Nothing on this page is a sample or stock image.

What a line name means

Hobbyist line names describe color, fins, and scales as the breeder sees them. They are not a pedigree or a genetics test. The morph guide explains each one.

Keep a line of your own?

The gallery is new and lines are added by hand for now. Open a storefront, list your fish, and let us know about the line.
